“sort of”和“kind of”这两个词可以互换使用。They're essentially identical/interchangeable!
kind of 和 sort of 意思 1：有点
Sort of/kind of：有几分，有那么点儿，近似，在一定程度上，差不多。

- 单数形式的 kind [sort] of 一般要用在单数可数名词和不可数名词前（且名词前通常不用冠词）。如：

What kind [sort] of picture do you like best? 你最喜欢什么样的图画？
注：在口语或非正式文体中有时也可在 kind of 后接复数名词。如：
