来搞懂 as long as、as soon as、as far as 的用法！
1. as long as 只要…
As long as A 句，B 句。
as long as 指的是如果 A 事件发生了，那么 B 事件就能够实现，是条件句的一种。
as long as 作为连接词来连接两个句子，可以放在句首或句中，换成 so long as 也是一样的意思。
这个用法还挺常出现在生活中的，像是师长或家长对孩子说的话，还有对情人甜言蜜语，或是表示对未来事件的预测。
TIP
You can go out as long as you finish your homework. 只要你写完功课就可以出门了。
As long as you love me, I don’t care how much money you have. 只要你爱我，我不会在乎你有多少钱。
As long as I have you, nothing else matters. 只要我拥有你，其他什么都不重要了。
As long as the weather is good next weekend, we will go hiking. 只要下个周末天气好，我们就会去健行。
2. as soon as 一…就…
As soon as A 句，B 句。
soon 的语义就是指时间上很快地，所以 as soon as 也跟时间有关系，表示 A 事件发生后，B 事件马上就跟着发生，可以用于过去或未来的事件。
as soon as 作为连接词来连接两个句子，放在句首或句中都可以喔。

The baby stopped crying as soon as she saw her mother. 那个小婴儿一看到妈妈就不哭了。
Damn it! As soon as I walked out of my house, it started to rain. 真该死！我才踏出门就开始下雨了。
As soon as Jennifer graduated from high school, her family moved to California. 珍妮佛高中一毕业，他们全家就搬到加州了。
The meeting will begin as soon as the boss shows up. 老板一出现，这场会议就会开始了。
一… 就… 的另外两个常用句型
要表示「一… 就…」的意思，还可以使用另外两个常用句型，就让我来替换以上的例句给你看吧：
the moment + S + V
on / upon + Ving
TIP
The baby stopped crying as soon as she saw her mother.
= The baby stopped crying the moment she saw her mother.
= The baby stopped crying on/upon seeing her mother.
要特别留意的是，在用 on / upon + Ving 的句型时，前后主语必须相同，在以上的例句中，前后主语都是 the baby，所以可以使用这个用法，但其他例句由于前后主语不同，所以无法直接替换，以下再提供几个例句给你参考喔：

The moment Helen heard the bad news, she burst out crying.
On/Upon hearing the bad news, Helen burst out crying.
一听到那个坏消息，海伦不禁大哭了起来。
The moment I arrived in Paris, I fell in love with this city.
On/Upon arriving in Paris, I fell in love with this city.

3. as far as
as far as 达到…的程度；达到…的距离
far 的意思为「远的」，可以用在距离或程度方面，而此用法的 as far as 后面会加上名词。
TIP
I’ve read as far as the fifth chapter, but I still need to read three more chapters.
我已经读到书的第五章了，但我还需要再读三章。
After you reach the summit, I suggest you go as far as the old castle. It’s worth visiting.
你登顶之后，我建议你再走远一点到古堡那，那里很值得一访。
as far as [something] is concerned 关于某事物
as far as 除了以上的用法外，还常搭配其他的字形成以下的说法，带有「范围、限度」之意：
这个意思就和 about 和 with regard to 的意思差不多，也作 so far as [something] is concerned。

As far as the budget is concerned, the company decided to sponsor our event. 关于预算的部分，那家公司决定赞助我们的活动了。
As far as speaking English is concerned, Rudy is doing pretty well. However, she should improve her writing. 在英语口语方面，露比表现得很好，不过，她应该要改善写作能力。
as far as I am concerned 就我而言
这个用法可以用来表达个人意见，与 in my opinion 语义类似，也作 so far as I am concerned（I am 可以自行换成其他人称）。

As far as I’m concerned, we had better cancel the trip this weekend as the typhoon is coming. 依我看来，我们最好取消这周末的旅行，因为台风要来了。

注意
这个用法很常在议论文中使用，但小心不要和 I think 一起用喔，因为 as far as I am concerned 已经有「我觉得…」的概念在。

这里是指某人基于自己知道的事情表达想法，但不确定确切的事实为何，也作 so far as I know。
TIP
As far as I know, Tracy won’t come to the office until next Monday. She seemed to have caught a cold. 就我所知，崔西要到下礼拜一才会进办公室，她好像感冒了。
The party will start one hour later, as far as we know. So, you don’t need to hurry. 就我们所知，派对会延后一小时才开始，所以，你不需要那么匆忙。
as far as I can tell/see/remember 按照我所理解/看见/记得
此用法和以上的 as far as I know 类似，亦用于表达个人想法，也作 so far as I can tell/see/remember。
TIP
As far as the doctor could tell, my grandma could live no longer than three to six months. 就那位医师所判断，我奶奶再活不过三到六个月。
As far as I can remember, Denis moved to Japan last year. So, this address is invalid. 就我所记得的，丹尼斯去年搬到日本了。所以，这个地址是无效的。
as far as it goes 在一定程度上还不错
指的是某事物已经很不错了，但隐含着还可以更好。
